This series contains the proposed revisions to the Florida Constitution of 1968 as outlined in 1978 by the Constitution Revision Commission. Volume 1 indicates the proposed revisions to the Constitution, as well as the ballot language and order. Volume 2 presents the 1968 Constitution with the 1978 revisions inserted as they would appear in the new text.

The 1968 Constitution contains a continuous revision clause providing for the revision of the Constitution within the first ten years after approval, and a revision every twenty years thereafter (Article XI, Section 2). The Constitution specifies a thirty-seven member commission be selected to prepare revisions.
